This song mostly wrote itself today while I was busy doing other things like watching my 3.75 year old and 1.75 year old. I got out the guitar which I hadn't strummed in some time and this is what I started playing. I worked on it a little bit to "finish it up" so I could say that it was done. I don't know why but I often will sing songs in a sort of faux Steve Earle twang - I think I have some fondness for pop country. I would love to write for a country pop star someday.
When writing this song, I thought it might be a song that Paul D could sing. I made it pretty easy (except for the weird middle breakdown) and pretty straightforward rocking. It is also a short song. It could be extended with another verse or a solo or some other part. Not sure if it needs anything else.
