The sandwich shop was closed for about an hour while Winkelman replaced all the relish packets. When they opened, it was discovered that the sun had exploded.
Winkelman fell to his knees and from his eyes fell giant salty tears. He so loved sunlight and also relish could not be produced without sun. This was quite a whammy.
Turns out that the sun hadn't exploded but it had just been obscurred by a cloud for several moments.
Winkelman raised himself back up to standing, dried his eyes, and went back in the store.
A happy day afterall!
