Behold Van Sleuth Live!

This crowd is waiting for Van Sleuth to play the electric raincoat. He is touring on his "Loaves and Hoots" CD/DVD with some assistance from a crack backup band including Steve Barens and Lucas Shiner on the skillet/omelette station and April August on the hoochie machine. This crowd is reserved now but won't be for long. When Van Sleuth hits the stage, the crowd will erupt like lava from the mouth of an active volcano. It will become a giant room full of cheering. Van Sleuth will then break into his classic opener, "What Can Happen is Love", and the whole band will get into a thing and time will pass so lightly and breezily. At the end of the event, everyone will be full of happy feelings but also spent like damp twisted washcloths. They will go home to their condos and fall asleep hard for at least 15 hours and wake up in the best of moods.
