sad-eyed lady of the moon dust

Tonight I took advantage of some late night time and re-recorded the song I had recorded earlier this week and then lost due to a computer freeze up. It is a song I wrote between 6:30 and 8:00 am on Monday morning (1/21/08). It is called Sad-eyed Lady of the Moon Dust.  I think it is sort of about a cold lady who is selling herself short by virtue of her coldness when she doesn't even realize the other aspects of her nature. It is written from the perspective of her love interest who is more or less pleading with her through song. That was the general impression I had when writing this song although nothing was too super thought out.

I still am having some trouble getting the actual link on the blog. The instructions for adding a widget are not working. So, somebody who knows more please help me learn this trick so I can be a slick Dr. Pibb like you.

So, I recorded this tonight between 10:30 pm and 1:30 am and now I need to go to sleep.

Best use of vocoder since Tupac's "California." Well, that one Cher song was pretty good too - still... nice work T. Can't wait for more. A++

Steely Dan making sweet love to Neil Young during his Trans album sessons. A+ indeed!
