"Black Magic" is Jarvis Cocker channeling Tommy James and the Shondells while having some sort of beatific epileptic fit. This song gets stuck in my head and makes me want to dance down the avenue in a herky-jerky style. Take a listen:

I have spent a lot of time with this song! This one is very effective on the treadmill - it gets my jog on.
I think I did just shed a layer of opacity. I'll listen again to be sure.
